Listed below is a list of my top strengths according to Gallup's StrengthsFinder. These 5 strengths are a great indication as to who I am and how I interact with people. These terms are called strengths, but should really be referred to as talent themes. These suggest that if I focus on developing these terms, then they will become strengths. There is a link on the right that will connect you to the StrengthsFinder website for more information!
1. Input This theme doesn't suggest that I like to give my opinion whenever I can. This actually means quite the opposite. Having Input as a strength means that I like to collect information and data. Now don't start thinking I'm a robot. Collecting information and data definitely refers to reading and tons of Googling, but it mainly means collecting through conversations. I absolutely love to listen to people tell stories, share experiences, or even just vent about life. I'm always craving new information and knowledge. 2. Developer When I connect this theme to my life, I connect it to my positive attitude. I don't give up on situations or people easily. I give compliments freely and always try to make the people around me smile. I tend to do that with compliments and awkward stories about my life. 3. Belief From a young age, my parents taught me to think for myself and stick to my values. My values guide me everyday and give me purpose. They are my foundation. |
4. Restorative This theme makes me a continuous problem solver and a giver. I'm not satisfied until the situation is solved or the person with the problem feels better. I never give up on people and always try my best to help others whenever I can. 5. Activator Straight up-I like to get things done. I like things to get done on time and done very well. I have always been a go-getter and don't see that changing anytime soon. If you need me to do something, consider it done 5 minutes ago. |
